Okay, back to the movie, I liked it I guess, but like the person below me said, it was just a compilation of clips and such.... I guess they were good for the most part though, so it's okay :P
Btw, one thing that threw me off JUST a little, nothing bout the movie itself, just animation tip, was the single symbol/group arms. I personally think that they look a little blocky, and maybe two symbols would be better.

Not the place

Newgrounds isn't really the place to submit "almost any random thing I do." If you want to upload something without much appeal for others, I suggest using a site where they automatically upload all your stuff, like deviant art or sheezy art... though maybe you may as well use a site like swfupload.com...
also, the voices were quiet, and not that good in my opinion.
There's a voice acting forum somewhere, maybe you could use that?

Nice Idea!

I like the "Different Drawing Style" idea, it sounds interesting. I was gonna do something like it, but for a collab xD
Anyways, the only thing I didn't like was the part where Duncan raises his hand, I noticed that not only did it look like it was somehow behind the sleeve, but that his hand seemed like the palm wasn't facing you... whatever just change the sleeve thing and make the hands a bit different and that'd be awesome :D

[The One Layer Collab]

Wow!

Very nice for one layer. I'm guessing though, did you guys use a bunch of groups and symbols? Even if you did, that was very intense as it would have gotten confusing anyways. But I still can't help but imagine how insane it would be if you couldn't use groups, just lines and shapes O_O

I think its too bad that you submitted this outside the collab, but I'm glad that it's you're first solo award. It's just too bad that instead of submitting both parts you're making (if you make another part for the collab like you say, not say that I don't believe you but we don't have much time so....) that you had to submit one part solo. Even if it isn't your fault that the song is short, you could have realized it and at LEAST submitted it in a personal collection of shorts (remember Wonchop's Tidbits?) that are too short for their own movies. I mean, what if EVERYONE in the collab submitted their flashes seperately? That's why we feel like you betrayed us, because instead of being kind enough to give us two parts, now you can only give us one. Just giving us one would have been better than giving us one and submitting one as a solo, in my opinion.

I kinda liked the style, but the explosion and the finger button pushing seemed to be a little lacking in effort in comparison to the other parts. Seeing as how you finished really quickly compared to other artists, I just hoped those would have been remade >_>

A few problems....

The voices were not only kinda hard to hear but also didn't really synch to the mouths... that was pretty ok with me until the subtitles skipped back... I think its strange that these glitches are caused by "filesize" as its only a 3.5 MB movie and I've seen movies at 5 MB work just fine. Anyways, try to fix these things before the filesize prevents you from editing the movie ;)
