You should be making loads of money animating.

WHY ARENT YOU MAKING LOADS OF MONEY?
But seriously, you're totally talented, and although it's a little kiddy for my taste, I would watch something like this over Muzzy any day.

TheBoogley responds:

I just animate for fun, I teach illustration and design for a living in Melbourne.

And you link it to your Halloween movie!

First of all, everything before that was excellent as well, although I kinda wished more pain/suffering on Junior, but that's probably just me.
But when he was reading the Shining, I totally had a Deja Vu.
But yeah, excellent as well!
Probably the trilogy that sucked the least in the end, with brawl taunts sucking the most ;)

OH MY GOD THANK YOU!

This is the best thing that could ever happen to Fred.
Thank you so much.

Happy Birthday :c

Well, I guess if it's of any comfort to you, they didn't pick you, per say, since you must serve in the army when you turn 18 in Israel (?)
Have fun!

Premise for a Collab?

Unfortunately I was too late to finding the one big morphing orgasm to join in, but a two color screen printish collab thing, THAT I would be happy to be a part of :D

TheBoogley responds:

it's pretty complicated... I need some thinking music while I ponder this...

Okay... but the music ruined it.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for Justice. In fact, Phantom (Both parts) is one of my favorite songs by them.
BUT
You got a really screwed up version of Phantom Part II. It's in no way the actual song, and that kinda disappointed me.
As another thing, I thought the original Tofuzilla was pretty good too, but it didn't seem like in my opinion the kind of thing a series is made out of, if you get what I'm saying. I mean, fighting tofu is interesting the first time you see it, but then I felt it got a little old.
Finally, this probably has to do with the music getting messed up at the end, but the action was a little too fast to follow, and didn't really make any sense.
But other than THAT, it was good :P

Hopefully the 3rd will be the last.

Now, don't get me wrong, I think that the idea of Prostitute Mickey is absolutely hilarious. But, you're starting to stretch it out, and I have a feeling you shouldn't make any more after the third, although I think the third itself will be good.
But I love all of your stuff, just saying! ;D

An exploitation of Mario Fan Base

While your animation was stunning as usual, and the voice acting wasn't half bad, there was very little humor, none of which actually referred to Mario. The movie would have actually played out the same way had it been the original characters or characters from Sonic. Why not, since sticking Mario on the name attracts 30 times the attention as a non-Mario movie!

Honestly, I would have given it a 7 for lack of humor, slight inaccuracies, and extreme condensation of the story originally, but the fact that the Mario references changed nothing whatsoever about the video, I marked you down another. :C

JonBro responds:

No offense, but I think you're missing a bit. Admittedly most of the script doesn't have much to do with Mario because a friend of mine wrote the script for a school project, but a few of the jokes do in fact have to do with Mario. For example, when Toad/Virgil explains the Tower of Babel to Mario, Mario makes grunting sounds far more often than he speaks, so Toad says, "Don't you start, too, or you'll end up here!" Another example is Toad's use of a tornado-whistle-thing to get to Hell, used exactly like the whistle in Super Mario Bros. 3 to get to the hellish World 8 where Bowser is. Then there's the bit with Yoshi/Geryon, and...

Well, that's it.

But you really can't say this exact same movie with all the exact same jokes can be done with Sonic or Crash Bandicoot or Mickey Mouse.

Stunningly Perfect

1) Flawless Animation: it definitely gives it the 80's kids show feel.
2) Stunning Graphics: also adds to the 80's style, with the painting-like backgrounds.
3) Impressive Voice Acting: fit perfectly into the movie. Who did the wonderful singing, btw?
4) Great Music/Sound Effects: Yet again found its perfect niche in the feel of a saturday morning cartoon.
Also, very nice use of the wilhelm scream. It's not used often enough :P
5) Hilarious: I haven't even read the Watchmen, just the wikipedia articles, and I still managed to roll on my floor, laughing, at the ironic sweetness.
6) You're a Visionary: how else do you get this idea?

Well...

I could imagine how you wanted to do something with Wall-E, because I'd agree when you say Wall-E is an awesome movie.
However, this is not done in a Wall-E-ish way.
How so?
It's like saying an animation with Mario playing checkers is done in a mario-ish way, even if he doesn't relate to Mario other than his looks and voice.

You see, Wall-E is a special movie because it takes robots, seemingly heartless, cold figures, and gives them bursting personality, almost making them human. However, it is easy to say that the movie wouldn't be the same if it was done with humans, even after getting past how you'd alter some scenes.

On the other hand, you had an animation with Wall-E characters, acting rather bland actually. If you took the characters, and replaced them with humans, possibly added dailog, it would essentially be the same thing. Sure, some scenes would be modified, but you'd get the same effect. A boy finds his brother animating flashes, successfully copies him after watching him do it, and they submit their flashes to newgrounds, then meeting another person.

And yes, I'd also be a little more lenient if the animation/graphics were better. Don't get me wrong, you did pretty good, but you could have used shading, and at least animated the wheels/treads rotating/turning at least when he walked.

Other than that, it was cute I guess. I mean, I've DEFINITELY seen stuff like this before, but whatever I'll give you a 7 :D

Yayyyyyyyyyy
