The horror O_O

I did NOT see that coming. And I usually see stuff like this coming..
The graphics in the beginning were beautiful, and everything else was basically animated, so it doesn't need as much graphic detail...
Freaked me out a little, but liked how it keeps the same quirky cartoony end with the sound effect and everything :D

Now the actual review:
I have to say, not only are sprite flashes unoriginal and overdone, but a mario sprite movie! And not even that! A mario sprite PARODY! While even tributes are overdone in my opinion, parodies are wayyyy overdone. Unless you're making original graphics, or have some new and "out there" jokes, I ain't happy.
The blaring heavy metal was also pretty distracting, I have to say...
The animation could have been a little better too.
But I'm still giving you a 7.. I'm not sure why, but I better hit submit review before it goes down anymore... ohwait too late >_>

[A Sophisticated Look W.P.]

So... let me get this straight...

God: Started us off. Left us after things got crazy.
America: Added a little (Wealth or whatever), but mostly took a lot.
China: Didn't really take much, but gave a generous amount
Middle East: Wanted to take a lot, but America took advantage first, and attacked America because of it.
France: Didn't really do much, took a little, but not too much
Wolf (Couldn't tell what it was... Russia?): Made technology, aided Middle East.
And... that's everyone I think. So.. was that it?

Ehhh...

I didn't really get a kick out of it... sorry to say.. a bunch of other people seemed to like it...
But a few things:
What was up with young link's whatever... it didn't really seem funny or anything...
It was like I had already seen everything.. not that this is stolen, but the jokes are a little meh...
The animation was, seeing as how you made this in 3 days, a little bleh... but it was good I guess

And why, for any reason, would you make this in 3 days? I really don't like it when artists do this, and then get an extremely high score (like above 4.1) for it. I mean, I can deal with these movies being accepted and even getting semi-high scores, but scores like yours for 3 days.. it just makes me feel bad for the other artists that put tons of effort into their flash, working on them for up to 3 months, only to get 3.9-ish, no awards, and about 20 reviews... See my movie "Slick: Showdown" for more details.
Okay, my rant is done... Good job I guess, other people seemed to like it.

Loved the editing, also no static noise. THat's very necessary to me if there isn't any music.

Yes, I made that word up just for this movie. And I am putting as MANY smilies in this review as I can ;)
So.. first of all I have to say very interesting idea :D, it seemed original enough, although many smiley based things have come about before >_>
But I'm not complaining! I enjoyed it I guess : D
Especially seeing the origins of *Beaten* smiley xD
Oh yeah, and just wondering, did you try to do a little Stamper styled animating? It just seemed like it, that's all ;)

Well, originally, I looked at Stamper's Work for a bit of reference since I believe he created the new smileys anyways. But it turned out good, I believe. Thanks for your review, Slick.

[Stratosphere]

They had split personality syndrome xD

Seriously, I kinda let it pass the first few times when the characters' emotions would instantly change, but it soon got ridiculous.
Graphics weren't half bad, although they could have been better (As in, shading... And that DOESN'T include filters :P)
Speaking of filters, some of them were essentially useless, and could have just been replace with white alpha gradients. Kinda slowed things down...
but transitions were smooth and nice and stuff.

My only concern is that I don't like the static so much.. it takes awhile if you wanna get to a certain animation ;)

Swimming: Redneksvk
Morphing: Nathanial Milburn
Personification: Qstorm (I didn't enjoy this week AS much as the others, it was mostly just semi-cheap jokes. But the man falling on his face cracks me up. Wait.. why was he JUMPING for the tolilet anyways xD, oh well)
